Raiffeisen Bank Aval and Agrohub will conduct a study of bank’s agribusiness clients
Raiffeisen Bank Aval and Agrohub have agreed on a partnership within the project “Innovation Agenda”, which will determine the innovative needs of agri companies with a land bank from 5 to 70 thousand hectares. The research was launched by Agrohub in February 2018.
“We are convinced that the exploration of innovative opportunities and prospects will give impulse to the entire agricultural sector of Ukraine. In addition to banking products, Raiffeisen Bank Aval pays great attention to non-financial services for the agricultural sector with the involvement of leading industry experts. These services make it possible to attract the clients’ attention to the newest information on the market and improve the efficiency of their business,” says Ruslan Spivak, director of the corporate products, partnership and sales department at Raiffeisen Bank Aval.
Interviews with the management of companies participating in the study will be held. They will involve CEOs, CINOs (if such position exists in the company), directors of production, HRs. Based on the collected data, Agrohub will determine the needs of the companies, which is the starting point for the systematic development of innovations in any organization.
Yulia Poroshenko, founder of Agrohub, co-founder of Radar Tech: “To make a national overview of innovations in the agricultural sector, we need to cover the maximum of respondents from different business sectors. Therefore, technological access to medium-sized agribusinesses through a trusted partner bank is so valuable.”
The project also has an educational component: participants receive practical information about new technologies relevant to their business and about the best way of introducing innovations into their companies.
The largest agricultural holdings of the country have already participated in the study “Innovation Agenda”. It helps the companies to formulate and document requests for innovations, build a process of integrating new technologies and begin practical interaction with startups, entrepreneurs and scientific institutions. Subsequently, the innovation agenda of the companies will be systematized and combined into a single industry report.
